How We Got Here!

2021

It All Started in Grandma’s Kitchen!

Shortly after her grandson's birth, 62-year-old Usha Ji moved to Mumbai and, along with Apurva's (Usha Ji's daughter-in-law) mother, made nutritious gond ke laddus! When they left, her son Yash & Apurva tried to recreate the recipe over a video call and quickly realised how challenging it was! That’s when it struck them: if making grandma’s recipes is this difficult, are we at risk of losing them forever? Determined to preserve these recipes, Usha Ji tried to adapt her laddus for today's on-the-go lifestyle. After 80+ failed attempts, she finally invented LadduBar!

2023

Mama Nourish Was Born

Ushaji's son, Yash, and his friend Kunal joined this mission, thus founding Mama Nourish—created by a grandmother, her son Yash, and his friend Kunal — to rediscover India’s nutritious treasures. Many more grandmothers started joining the mission to preserve India’s culinary heritage for generations to come!

2024

Recognitions & Expansion!

Received the prestigious i-Hub Gujarat Srujan Grant from Govt of Gujarat, Best Packaging Award by Afaqs, Glove Best Packing Design National award, National Silver at Big Bang Awards for brand film, Selected as an Amazon Launchpad brand & Expanded our presence in 150+ major corporate establishments and airports across Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad through vending machines!
