Our story
The Beginning of a Grandma’s Dream
Mama Nourish began with a simple belief — that grandma’s recipes deserve a place in modern life.
It started in Usha Ji’s kitchen, where wholesome snacks were made with love for family.
Inspired by those memories,
Usha Ji realised that grandmother recipes were slowly disappearing. Determined to preserve them, she reimagined her laddus for modern life.
After 70+ trials, the LADDUBAR was born—and with it, Mama Nourish.
Meet the Founders — A Family, A Mission
Mama Nourish began with Usha Ji (65)—a mother, a grandmother, and a home cook.
In 2021, after preparing her signature dryfruit and gondh laddus for her family in Mumbai, a simple question changed everything: why couldn’t her own children recreate them?
Her son Yash, along with his close friend Kunal, set out to bring that same goodness to today’s world
preserving the wisdom of grandma’s kitchen, without losing its authenticity.
From Grandma’s Kitchen to Your Pocket
Turning these rich, legacy recipes into products that suit modern lifestyles wasn’t easy. Before even launching the first Laddubar, the team spent months learning food science, quality systems and regulatory frameworks, making sure every bar was safe, wholesome, and reliable. When the first batch finally went out… it carried more than flavour. It carried heritage.
